Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance 2022 Strategic Roadmap Detailed

  • Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance announced they achieved most of the objectives for their strategic plan 2020 one year ahead of schedule. Outstanding volumes managed by CA CF increased to €90.5 billion between end-2015 and June 30, 2019 (+27%).
  • They now unveil their “CA CF 2022” roadmap in order to meet market changes and consumers’ expectations building on “CA CF 2020” induced strengths.
  • CA CF 2022 relies on three projects meant to match their new purpose, i.e.: “Working every day in the interest of our customers and society”.

CHALLENGES

  • Customer facing. Customers’ and partners’ satisfaction stands out as a key priority. They want to streamline purchasing experiences as far as possible based on innovative services and data analytics.
  • Social challenge. The group still focuses on providing all customers with access to credit offers, featuring customised assistance to the most fragile segments. Besides, they intend to grant €1 billion in “green” financing by 2022.
  • Human challenge. CA CF will also simplify its organisation to further empower their employees and digitalise HR processes.

MARKET PERSPECTIVE

  • With this medium-term plan, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance aims at supporting the growth of their retail banks in France, Italy, Morocco and Poland. And they will further boost their insurance business.
  • CA CF intends to rely on their Joint Venture with Bankia in Spain to launch new consumer lending offers. They will make the most of their agreement with Banco BPM in Italy. And their partnership with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has been renewed until end-2024.
